Chinese and Naturopathic Medicine Lecture
Have you ever wondered what the difference is between naturopathy and homeopathy?
Do you know how big acupuncture needles are? Have you heard the term “holistic medicine,” and wondered if you could benefit from this type of comprehensive care? Come join us for a night of FREE education! Wednesday, May 12th at 5:30pm Hung Fa Yi of Arizona is holding a lecture on Alternative and Naturopathic medicine. We have the privilege of hosting Dr. Jaime Ewald, NMD who will discuss different types of alternative medicine and how they can benefit you. She will also be available to answer questions you may have about the modalities she describes. Our hope is to enlighten the public about this topic and dispel some common myths about Naturopathic medicine. Bring your friends and family! Registration is not necessary, but if you plan to attend it would be helpful if you let us know so we can estimate the crowd. SEE YOU THERE!

This was a really cool presentation on naturopathy. We got the chance to feel what an acupuncture needle was (if you wanted), got some great advice on how to stay healthy, and a lot of knowledge and insight on naturopathic and homeopathic treatments. It's always exciting to listen to an expert who has a passion for their work.
Dr. Ewald took time after class to answer some of my personal questions and seemed very knowledgeable and very friendly. Everyone there I think will agree she was really fun and what was even better was she was martial arts-minded and was able to explain things in a way that connected immediately. Hearing a doctor talk about body mechanics and energy was pretty surprising and just felt like she was the exactly the right person to be talking in a HFY kwoon. I'd like to see more of these kind of presentations at the school and for all who didn't make it, you missed out! feels good to be able to say that, finally. haha |
